Cache Valley Public Shooting Range

Cache Valley Public Shooting Range is a comprehensive, indoor/outdoor shooting facility operated by the Utah Division of Wildlife Resources in Logan. Whether you're a competitive shooter, hunter, or recreational enthusiast, this full-service range accommodates rifle, pistol, shotgun, and archery in a safe, family-friendly environment.

The range features exceptional variety across multiple shooting sports:

• •Rifle Ranges: 60-foot indoor .22 caliber range, plus 100-, 200-, and 300-yard outdoor rifle ranges
• •Pistol Ranges: 50-foot handgun range with targets at 5, 10, or 16 yards
• •Shotgun Sports: Trap shooting, skeet shooting, and five-stand shooting (housed in a newly renovated shotgun building)
• •Archery: 100-yard outdoor archery field, 20-yard indoor archery range, and cosmic archery (glow-in-the-dark shooting)
• •Multi-Use Ranges: 25- and 50-yard outdoor ranges open to both archery and firearms

Cache Valley Public Shooting Range continues to invest in its facilities. Recent improvements include a brand-new shotgun building that replaces a 30-year-old structure, providing expanded space for group meetings, Hunter Education classes, and shooter comfort. An outdoor archery range with targets at 20, 30, 40, 50, and 100 yards was also constructed to serve growing archery interest.
