BKS Sportsmen's Club operates multiple shooting disciplines on 92411 Abbott Rd in Astoria. Founded as a member-driven club, they've built out dedicated ranges for rifle, pistol, trap shooting, and archery—each with its own setup and community.
- •Rifle Range — 100-yard rifle range. $3 daily range fee per shooter.
- •Pistol Range — Full pistol facilities for members and guests.
- •Trap Shooting — Two trap houses capable of singles, doubles, and continental formats. Public trap shooting Sundays at 11am.
- •Archery Range — "Jurassic Park" trail course with 8+ targets set throughout the property for realistic shooting.

Weekly trap practice: Thursdays 9am and Sundays 11am.
New members complete a safety orientation and liability waiver. The club offers:
- •Women's Only Workshops (WOW Training) — $20 per person, limited class size. Offered monthly October–November.
- •Hunter Education — Oregon Dept. Fish & Wildlife certified training.
- •Instructor Certification Courses — Available through the club.
- •4-H Youth Programs — Saturday practice dates and competition support.
Membership dues renew annually by August 31st. Late renewals incur a $10 reactivation fee.
BKS hosts PITA multi-plex shoots (50-bird events with singles, handicap, and doubles), seasonal meat shoots (Thanksgiving and Christmas), and invitation-only cowboy action shoots. Check their interactive calendar for current events and range closures.
